I will not be partaking in this just doing pairings and battlefields. As for characters, each are limited to two, but I have no time constraints as to when it will start. When there are enough characters and even number then we'll start

I'm just checking, are people still interested in doing this? Cause I've seen no real movement here in a bit. People seemed interested in having multiple slots. I know I said no time being set, but at this point I might have to. What do you guys think? I was thinking 3 weeks for all characters to be made and have it ready to go by then. Opinions?

Pretty sure there's interest the matter is making sure the rules are clear at this point.

I think multiple slots is a terrible idea- it leads to a very real possibility where a player is the ONLY one competing in a round, as both of their characters are the ones advancing. That completely eliminates the possibility of competition and renders voting entirely pointless- it doesn't matter which way people vote, the same person would win. And could intentionally write one side of the fight terribly if they wanted the other character to advance.

That, and it limits how invested a person can get in their character- because if one loses, no big deal there's still one more. I like the idea of only having one character and having to put all your effort into that one character, personally.

Is that that big of a deal?

I was under the impression that was a place to give opinions on something. I gave mine, as well as why I hold it. Whether or not it's a "big deal" to you is irrelevant.

With how much time has passed, I'm going to say, 3 weeks until DC starts, for real this time. Remember there are two slots open for everyone right now. Take them if you'd like. Also no dragons. So please if you want to make your first or second character have them in by the 1st of April. Cause at 9:00 MST on the 1st, I am going to close and post the round of the game. From that point you will have 2 weeks to write you point of view of the fight. After the two weeks, voting will begin. Good luck to you all.
