Dean Artemus Decoff - Equuleus - Halls

It had worked? Kerri actually wanted to work with him for once? That was not something Art had suspected would happen. Giving a nod, the minotaur turned around, giving a backwards wave to the dragon. "Don't worry I'll get what we need Kerri. You just rest your pretty little head. Try doing some yoga or taking a hot bath."

Walking down the hall Art began thinking over what exactly he would need to do to coerce information out of the perpetrators. Since he would be handing out passes on Kerrigan's punishments this was going to be rather difficult. Many of these boys were more than likely innocent and had no idea what was going on. Even still he was going to have to hear their side as well to make sure he got everything drop of detail, from motive, to planning, or anything that could be used to find out this ringleader. This was going to be a long day.

Chitin - Equuleus - Nurse's Office

Watching the activity, Chitin gave a heavy, labored sigh, looking as the ponies moving about. All this trouble over him. He hated being such a bother. Looking to Chroma, the changeling, spoke up, "C-Chroma, Chroma can you please, I, I am wanting to talk to Ms.Hannibal if at all possible."

"Of course" Chroma said, leaving the room quickly, he'd felt useless anyway. "Dean Hannibal, Chitin wants to talk to you."

Kerrigan nodded at Chroma, and walked back into the room. Chitin was looking a little more animated, but she was still wary. He'd overexerted himself earlier, she did not want him getting worked up again now. "You really should be resting," she said, chiding hm a little. "Promise me you'll get some sleep after this."

Chitin - Equuleus - Nurse's Office

Seeing the dragon approach, Chitin tried his best to get into some form of a sitting position. "Ms, Ms, Hannibal, thank you. It's just, just that. I don't think I want to be here anymore. W-Well, I mean on campus. Can, can I call the hive, see if some of the, some of the other changelings can provide housing. Somewhere, somewhere where I don't have to run into the Tris..." Chitin tried to explain, "S-sorry all this trouble was dumped onto you...I-I can start going around in disguise if that will help."

"I do not blame you at all. Yes, we can arrange for you to contact the Hive. I have already informed our diplomats of the incident. There is, however, another possible housing option. I am sponsoring a student organization that currently resides on the bottom floor of the campus apartment building, I could arrange for you to stay there, as well. It is on campus, but not under the school's direct supervision. I have personally vetted the students residing there, and I can assure you that your safety is of utmost importance. Campus Police HQ is in an outbuilding mere yards away, as well. Additionally, I believe it will present a unique opportunity to 'field study', as it were, the science of psychology. I can arrange to have one-on-one classes with you instead of classroom lectures, and the apartment community itself can serve as an internship of sorts. Some of the students residing there are patients of mine, and you insight into their emotional state would be of great assistance in their recovery. Primarily, however, it is an organization I am personally involved in, with some of my favorite pupils from the university, all of whom are in no way associated with Tri-Omega," Kerrigan said, leaving a card with her contact information on his bedside table. "Give it some thought, after you've had a chance to rest. you can contact me at any time. I have requested Night Watch to keep on eye on this facility overnight for you. Get some sleep, I will come by to check on you in the morning," Kerrigan said, more softly than she was accustomed to speaking.

Of course, she had other patients to check in on in the morning... she only hoped that Longshot had not gotten himself into any trouble over the course of this long and stressful day.

Ivy let out a slow breath as she walked back into the infirmary. Firesong had let her off easy, and she knew it. She was only thankful that Hannibal had not been in charge of her punishment, whatever it may have been. She was about to walk into the infirmary proper, but she paused at the door, hearing Chitin and Dean Hannibal speaking on the other side of it. She leaned her ear up to the door and listened in. A student organization? Like a fraternity or sorority? She tried hard, but couldn't quite hear everything, only bits and pieces. Her hand closed around the door handle and she pulled it open slowly. "Umm, I'm back." She said uneasily as she slipped into the room. "I'm sorry, I hope I'm not interrupting." She said, glancing between the two of them slowly.

Chitin - Equuleus - Nurse's Office

Hearing Kerrigan explain the other housing area he could possibly go to, one where others Kerrigan had gathered were housed, it seemed a bit off for a Dean to do something like this but then again, she explained that it was a fraternity, of some sorts. As of late he did not really know if his luck with those was all that great.

Turning to Ivy as she entered the room Chitin tried to force a smile, but his concern for his friend won out in the end, leading to an awkward grin, "H-hi, Ivy. No, no you aren't, aren't interrupt...ing." He replied, once again trying to hide the pain he was in. He didn't want her to be so concerned over him. His appearance alone led to enough concern. He didn't want to add to it. "Ms, Ms.Kerrigan was talking about, talking about a place I could stay, more, more off campus. With others, others that she calls her patients?" He asked looking to the dragon for confirmation that he understood everything she had said.

"Is that the Phi Omega Psi group?" Chroma asked, "Lens and I applied there last night. Seemed like a nice group, you know, the ones we met last night? I don't see any of them being threatening."

"Mr. Ataxia is correct, that's the very same. I was approached months ago by a pair of students with a proposal for a new student group, which developed into Phi Omega Psi. The intent was to provide students with a more realistic idea of adult life, get them accustomed to cohabitating and coexisting with a variety of people. Most of the students who have joined, or whom I have encouraged to join, are unlike the typical student body. There may not be any other Changelings, but you would certainly not be alone."

Ivy smiled slightly. "I think that we both filled out applications for that place last night. Lens shoved applications into our hands, remember?" She said gently, "Remember? If Dean Hannibal has anything to do with it, you'll be safe there. And the people who were throwing the party seemed pretty nice, so maybe you'll be able to make friends there too." She turned towards Chroma and Lens, who until now had been uncharacteristically quiet. "Lens, you filled out an application too, right? Maybe if we're lucky we'll both get in too." She said quietly.

Lens looked blank for a moment before snapping back to reality. The entire ordeal had been exhausting for her, and she needed a moment to get her brain back. "What? Yeah. Yeah we did." She said, wrapping her arm through Chroma's arm. "Yeah! It'll be great! We'll have way more ponies to have fun with! I mean, can you imagine an apartment wide ice cream social? It'll be great!" She said, coming back to herself, and lightening up immediately. "What do you say, Dean Hannibal? Do you think Ivy, Chroma, and I could have a chance to join? We won't make any trouble, honest!" She said, beaming like the whole thing had been her idea. "Please, please pretty please?!"

Kerrigan felt as though her head was about to burst open. This day had been so, unbelievably aggravating. All she wanted to do was go home and sleep. "I have not had a chance to review the latest applications, as today has been rather eventful. Provided you have submitted, I see no reason you would be rejected- though I must insist that any shenaniganry be kept to that which can be easily cleaned up. I am not going to act as den mother, but neither do I want the university's physical plant team to constantly be hounding me with repair requests and requisitions," Kerrigan said, trying to sidle her way past Lens. "Now if you would all excuse me, it has been a long and trying day for many of us. I recommend everyone get some rest."

Chitin - Equuleus - Nurse's Office

The changeling could taste the stress and pressure coming off of Dean Hannibal, it tasted bitter, almost sour, with such strength that he wouldn't have been surprised if everyone else could see the dark blue aura that hung around the dragon. "I-I'm sorry Dean Hannibal. I, I didn't mean to cause so much, so much trouble for you." the changeling mumbled. He was beginning to hate all the attention that had been put on him for this whole incident. He was starting to wish that he or all of this could be forgotten. Though doing so wouldn't heal him, everyone could at least try and return to normal if they did just that.

Chitin - Equuleus - Nurse's Office - Hours into the Evening (timeskip)

Hours passed and slowly everyone had made their way out, leaving Chitin to rest. Glad for the silence, Chitin couldn't help but finally get some rest. Silence, filled the air as Chitin found himself walking through the hive again devoid of any color except the striking contrast of auras. The changeling watched as those of his kind, walked or hovered passed him, not paying him any mind. All around he could see the last lingering bits of aura consumed by each of them.

Moving through the crowd, Chitin found himself inside the hall leading to a number of feeding chambers, each labeled with the appropriate emotion it lead to. Chitin watched as changelings went in an out of each chamber, every now and then one would come out, leading a host out as well, they had done their part for the hive, and were now being escorted out of the hive. Though to them it would all just be a dream to them, remembered or not it wouldn't matter. The vacant position would be filled by another picked up by the hunters and the hunters would do their part, continuing the new pony's life while they were aiding the hive. Feeling his stomach growl, Chitin headed down the chamber labeled Love. Reaching a door, the changeling began to push it open.

His eyes, shot open as he felt his stomach growl again. Looking around him, it didn't seem like anyone was around to help. Moreover he could see the last of the sun dip below the horizon. It was late. Pushing himself up to a sitting position. The changeling gave a sigh as his stomach continued to complain. He couldn't get out of bed, he didn't want to cause anymore concern, but he wasn't happy about it. Even sitting in a more populated area could give him all he needed but even that left him much more exposed that he wanted to be right now.

Resigning to stay in bed, he began to hope that someone, even the nurse would come around. Maybe she was out talking to someone she liked and would give off some love when she came back. That would be enough to at least silence his stomach for a bit.

Chitin - Equuleus - Nurse's Office

Feeling his stomach rumble once again, Chitin couldn't help himself he needed to find something. He wouldn't be gone long or even need to go very far, just far enough that he could get a bit closer to anyone feeling some kind of strong emotion. Whatever it was he didn't care at this point.

Closing his eyes, the changeling focused on some kind of transformation, anything to get him by. He couldn't possibly do a full change, he was still much too weak for that, but just enough change to the face would be efficient. Feeling the heat of the spell build then quickly diminish, he opened his eyes. Pushing himself to take the first step.

Putting weight onto his legs, he took a step then another. Slow and methodical, so as not to aggravate or reopen a wound. Reaching the doorknob, he quickly pushed it open. Finding the hallway clear, Chitin moved forward. The waiting room that would be enough he theorized. The attendant there would be someone he could talk to and get some form of emotion from.

Dr. Heart heard the door behind her open and turned around, a fork from her dinner still hanging out of her mouth. "Oh, hey there, sleepy head." She said offhandedly, glancing at the clock. "Looks like a good time for you to wake up." She said, raising her eyebrow, "I'm not going to nitpick your methods, but I know no one else was in there. You look hungry, am I right?" She asked with a smile. "I'd offer you some of my meal, but since you're a changeling, I'm guessing it won't really do much. And I'm not really sure what I can get you that will satisfy..."

Chitin - Equuleus - Nurse's Office

"Oh, Doctor, yes, I'm, I'm a bit hungry, yes." Chitin answered, looking for the nearest seat. Looking around the rest of the place seemed rather empty, maybe the others were on a dinner break? He didn't really know. "No, no I don't really need anything like that. But, but thank you for the offer. I guess, I guess we could just. I don't know, we could talk?" Chitin replied. Actually talking in his own form? This was certainly something he had to still get used to.

Doctor Heart put down her fork and rotated to face him. "Of course. Please sit down. " She said, gesturing to an open chair. " I realize this must all be very strange and stressful for you. But I must emphasize that that not all ponies are like the monsters that did this to you. That little Miss Alistair, for example, is quite the fine, upstanding young made, current chicanery aside." She said, pushing her glasses up the brim of her nose. "Now, what did you want to talk to me about."

Chitin - Equuleus - Nurse's Office

Taking a seat in the open chair Chitin got comfortable before looking back to the doctor. Turning his gaze just a bit as Honey mentioned Ivy. "Y-yes she is, one of the nicest I've met thus far. W-well what I wanted to talk about is well, what do you think I should do? I-I mean have you ever been in a situation where you were completely out of place? Some place where you felt, felt like a fish out of water?" He couldn't help but feel a little insidious trying to steer the conversation to the doctor almost immediately. He was hungry and just trying to stir up some kind of emotion from her would be enough to get something he could consume.

Dr. Heart half smiled haphazardly and folded her hands in her lap. "Well, you certainly like to get right down to the personal questions." she said calmly. She leaned back in her chair, crossing her legs. "Well, If you want me to be frank, yes. Both my parents were farmers, and they doted on my much wilder sister, Wild Heart. I had my studies, she had parties. It seemed that there was no middle ground, and I was often persecuted for things that my sister could easily get away with." She said, the smile never leaving her face. She tilted her head back and closed her eyes, "Eventually, I left for medical school, and my sister..." She paused and let out a slow breath, "Became addicted to pharmeceudical herbs. The last time I saw her, she was pregnant, and begging me for a prescription for sALT. I turned her away." She said, failing to hide the edge of bitterness in her voice as she brought her purple eyes back to meet his, "I haven't seen her since, and my parents refuse to speak to me on the grounds that I didn't 'help her in her time of need.'" She said, tilting her head to the side, "Does that count, my dear?" She said, calm and professional once more.
